Name the lake and what road this is. You all went up this road many times! Don't cheat. I think the name of the lake is in Spanish. From that you should be able to figure out the destination of the road...
Hmmm... it doesn't quite look like Arrowhead... not green enough.
I don't remember the lake's name, but is this the one near Pine Springs Ranch?
The other possibility is that is the lake near Tahoe that we used to go.
I see your age has not yet damaged your memory a great deal, hijo. This is indeed, Lake Hemet, near Apple Canyon Rd., which is the road you see that climbs from Highway 74 to Pine Springs Ranch. Mercedes and I took our tandem to east end of the valley, rode the 10 miles to Lake Hemet, went up this 3 mile climb to PSR, and then back to the car on the east end of the valley. A gorgeous ride. The climb to PSR was brutal, but a great deal of satisfaction enjoying so much beauty in one place. Te quiere mucho, tu papi.
Ha! I win. Or something.
I don't remember going to Lake Hemet that much, but I do remember going past it many, many times on the way up to the various interment camps. Good times, good times.
The best thing was going to basketball camp at PSR one summer when the assistant coach of the Phoenix Suns was doing it. That was an awesome experience.
